The weather was less than desirable. It rained practically the whole time we were there and even hailed one day. It sure looked like snow when we looked out of the window. The highlight of the trip was reuniting with many of my China buddies. It was great to see them and catch upwith how they have been doing.
The trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park was another highlight. This year we were able to go to the top! The one day it didn't rain...thankfully! Twelve thousand feet above sea level has very thin air, even the most fit were huffing and puffing climbing to the summit. Due to the slippery slope I took my time and decided not to go all the way to the tippy top. Had I had more time I'd have made it. No sense rushing and then breaking a bone!
Here I am with Barbara Johnson from Boca Raton and Carol-Ann Sage from Niagra Falls, NY. two of my China buddies. For more pictures of Colorado click the link to the left for my photo album.Soon I will be heading to Europe with one of my students...Paris, Nice, Florence and Rome here we come!
Next time from Paris.
